Softdial Publisher™
At the core of the reporting suite is Softdial Publisher™, a powerful and flexible data transformation engine. To deliver the visibility you need, Publisher…
- receives data generated within Softdial Contact Center™ in realtime
- extracts just the relevant data
- keeps the data in memory to provide fast realtime access if required
- delivers the data to the database/ file of your choice, e.g.
- an SQL database
- an XML database (e.g. eXist – free!)
- a plain text file (e.g. CSV)
Using a combination of archived and cached data, Publisher then delivers ready-to-view data to
- a web browser, enabling mobile and home working
- a reporting client (e.g. Sytel’s Softdial Reporter™ 2, below)
For larger and more complex environments, instances of Publisher serving separate databases can be chained together, offering unprecedented flexibility and scalability for any market.
As well as Publisher's tight integration with Softdial Contact Center, native SQL and XML input and output means easy integration into any existing reporting infrastructure.
Softdial Reporter™ 2
The perfect partner to Publisher is Softdial Reporter™ 2, the new Sytel front-end reporting and charting tool (see pic above), allowing highly configurable data views in either alphanumeric format, or using one of the over 25 chart formats available.
The same Reporter client can be used for by both management for high-level performance analysis, and supervisors using the built-in colour coding to identify at a glance the current state of campaigns, queues and agents.
Recognizing the need for optimal use of screen real-estate, Reporter 2 has a highly configurable and intuitive layout mechanism, giving you ultimate flexibility in arranging your reports on screen, including support for multiple monitors.
